The finite difference method is used to discretize the partial differential equations. The simulation and experimental analysis of a multi rope friction hoist system of a mine's auxiliary shaft are carried out, and the influence of the balance wire rope and stiffness ratio on the transverse vibration of the wire rope is analyzed.
