Artificial Immune System(AIS) implements a learning technique inspired by the biological immune system which is a remarka- ble naturaldefensemechanism that learns about foreign substances.AIS has been a novelbranch of computational intelligence.Firstly, the cor- respondingmechanisms of biological immune system are introduced. Secondly, artificial immune network models and immune laerning algo- rithm are presented.Thirdly, the new applied researches on AIS are illustrated.Finally, the directions for further study are provided.
