Description: Waveform matching algorithm, in order to obtain a complete image of the fingerprint, the fingerprint image frame sequence assembly algorithm based on waveform matching. The algorithm waveform information extracted from the reference area for each image frame, and the introduction of the the splice strategy of stepwise refinement by calculation of the waveform similarity, divided into three stages to get the stitching parameters, to determine the overlap between the image frame and horizontal shift. The experimental results show that the arithmetic operations is a small amount of computing speed, occupying less system resources, particularly in resource-limited settings in the Automated Fingerprint Identification System.
