Description: MMS operates over an IP connection. The details of this are transparent, and indeed largely
irrelevant to the MMSC. There are very few differences for the MMSC operating in a CDMA,
GSM, or indeed 3G (W-CDMA) environment with or without WAP gateway (1.2 or 2.0). The
main difference is the use of MDN versus MSISDN to identify the user.
