Description: Using VHDL language description and implementation of a traffic light controller, the traffic light system as an intersection traffic lights, used for main road and rural road intersection, the requirement is to ensure the main open, therefore usually in a state of "the green light to the main road, rural road red light", only road in the countryside have a vehicle to travel only when the main cut traffic lights to "red light the main road, the country green light", once the country road vehicles through the intersection, traffic lights back to "advocate green, township red" state. In addition, the time of the main road shall not be shorter than one minute, and the road time of the country road shall not be longer than 20 seconds. In the two state exchanges, the state of "main yellow, xiang red" and "main red, rural yellow" appeared in the two state exchanges, which lasted for 4 seconds.
