Description: 分布式视频编码(Distributed Video Coding)基于Slepian-Wolf理论和Wyner-Ziv理论,对两个或多个独立同分布的信源进行独立编码,然后由单一解码器利用信源之间的相关性对所有编码的信源进行联合解码。它与传统的视频编码技术的区别在于:传统的技术标准通常都用于在编码端充分挖掘视频信号的冗余信息,因此编码复杂度一般是解码复杂度的5~10倍,适合于对视频信号一次编码、多次解码的场合(如视频广播、视频点播、视频光盘存储等);而分布式视频编码具有编码器复杂度低、编码端耗电量低、容错性好等特点,适合于一些计算能力、内存容量、耗电量都受限的无线视频终端(如无线视频监控系统、视频传感器网络等)。
