Point primitives are not much different from the other primitive types available (triangle strips, lists, etc.). We can still choose what vertex shader we use.
A vertex shader tells DirectX about what type of vertices it can expect - such as whether they are already transformed, if they have a diffuse color, and so on. Since I m mainly aiming this tutorial at 2D gaming, I m going to use slightly customized TL vertices. This stands for Transformed and Lit, which means the vertices already are transformed and that the lighting color has already been computed. So an X of 300 will be 300 on the screen, and the vertex color will be the final color.-We have our classes ready, time to start writing the actual code. Description: THIS is really two books in one: a tutorial and a reference manual for JDBC, the application programming interface that makes it possible for programmers to access databases from Java. The goal is to be useful to a wide range of readers, from database novices to database experts. Therefore, we have arranged the book so that information needed only by experts is separated out from the basic material. We hope that driver developers as well as application programmers and MIS administrators will find what they need. Because different sections are aimed at different audiences, we expect that few people will read every page. We have sometimes duplicated explanations in an effort to make reading easier for those who do not read all sections.
This book will be most helpful to those who have some knowledge of the Java programming language and SQL (Structured Query Language), but one doesn t need to be an expert in either to understand the basic concepts presented here. -THIS is really two books in one : a tutorial and a reference manual for JDBC. the application programming interface that ma ram it possible for programmers to access datab ases from Java. Description: Before all : Pure-FTPd was designed on Unix and for Unix. The Windows port
has been done because some people are forced to work on Win32 by their
pointy hairy boss. For these people, Apache is a nice alternative to IIS.
But when it comes to FTP servers, most of them are designed for warez
trading rather than being secure. And closed-source doesn‘t help.
So a Windows port of Pure-FTPd makes sense. As long as Cygwin32 is able to
compile and run this piece of software without any change to the source
code, Win32 binaries will be provided. But don‘t expect any Windows-specific
change or optimization. Also, a great part of the server security relies on
Cygwin‘s libraries emulation functions. So Pure-FTPd on Win32 should be
considered experimental and unsupported. And some features may just not work.
On the good side, initial testing showed that the server was immune to
common attacks other Windows FTP daemons were vulnerable to (directory
traversals, device opening, etc) .

Description: Introduction
Virtual Keyboard is a great tool when you can t install or use additional keyboard layouts bundled with your OS. For example, you re at the internet cafe where only En/US layout is available and you want to write some letters to your Russian, Korean, or Japanese friends. Yes, you can just transliterate your writing, but this will take much more time than you would ever expect, and makes reading boring.
If this is the case, open the VirtualKeyboard site and begin typing. It will make the text input as comfortable, as with the native keyboard layout.
You might want to integrate such a keyboard in your own application, like in your search engine, forum, webmail system, or something else. This is a wise decision - a tiny app will make life easier for you and your customers.

Description: This my PEDUMP code as January 1998. It s certainly better than the original
PEDUMP from my MSJ column, and from my "Windows 95 System Programming Secrets"
book. There are additions for several new file types, and additional resources.
Having said that, this is by no means the best PEDUMP sources I have. I ve made
extensive additions since then for things like PE32+ (Win64) support. I plan to
release them publicly as part of future article in MSDN magazine. This article
will essentially be an update of my 1994 article on the PE format. There have
been many exciting changes since then, and I ll cover them, as well as correct
some errors in the original.
In the meanwhile, enjoy this code. I know there are some bugs in a few places.
(Yes, I know that there is a new .LIB file format, for instance.) These issues
are most likely fixed in the version I have locally. Comments are welcome,

Description: Voice over IP (VoIP) is undoubtedly a powerful and innovative communication tool.
Compared with the public switched telephone network (PSTN), VoIP off ers the benefi t
of reducing communication and infrastructure cost. This makes it possible for everyone
to easily keep in touch with family, friends, and clients around the world. Furthermore,
VoIP has the potential to create new and att ractive communication tools by
integrating with various applications, such as Web systems, presentation soft ware, and
photo viewers. In the near future, we expect VoIP to provide a rich multimedia communication
service.
