Description: Firstly, the license plate is with a gray image preprocessing, median filtering algorithm. Secondly, the plate positioning module and morphological study of the detection algorithm are based on license plate edge Canny operator, which improve the positioning accuracy of the system. Then, the license plate character is segmented which is based on the vertical projection of the vertical segmentation algorithm. Finally, I can use the template matching algorithm to recongnize the license plate character.
