Description: Proposed a second generation curvelet transform based multi-focus image fusion method. Two multi-focus image will be the source for the second generation curvelet transform were decomposed into their low-frequency sub-band coefficients and the band-pass directional subband coefficients with certain fusion rules of the curvelet transform coefficients of fused image is obtained by combining the music wave coefficient Finally, curvelet coefficients obtained by curvelet reconstruct the fused image. Experimental results show that the fusion is better than the common fusion
