Description: Color transfer between images use the statistics information of image effectively. In this paper, we present a novel approach of local color transfer based on the simple statistics and gradient domain information of images. A sketching interface is proposed for quickly and easily specifying the color correspondences between source and target image. The user can specify the correspondences of local region using scribes. Owing to adopt the gradient of image, our approach can preserve the color details of source image, and can extends to colorization problem naturally for sake of improving the speed of colorization. Various experimental results show that our approach can specify the correspondences of local color region in source and target image, can express the intention of users, and generates actual and natural results for visual effect.
