Description: There are many researches on medical image segmentation methods, but there are few researches on the evaluation methods of segmentation algorithms. This paper presents a method to judge and compare the advantages and disadvantages of medical image segmentation algorithms. Firstly, several existing evaluation methods are summarized, and a set of evaluation system is summed up. Reliability, accuracy, regional statistical characteristics and efficiency are 4 important parameters for evaluating a segmentation method.
