Description: This paper firstly analyzes the typical error items of MEMS inertial components, and then
introduces the principle and algorithm of Allan variance method. Afterward, Allan variance is used to process the
long-term static data recorded commercial MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers. Results show that Allan
variance method can effectively recognize the error coefficients of the inertial components which can be used to
model the inertial errors and help to implement and improve the performance of the GNSS/INS integrated navigation
systems
