Description: This thesis designed by AT89C52 microcontroller as the control center for monitoring device with infrared burglar alarm system. The system of infrared tube as infrared transmitting and receiving section. Emitting portion using infrared light emitting diode, a phototransistor as a receiving portion to receive the infrared ray emitted from the infrared light emitting diodes (not visible). The microcontroller will be detected by the internal software system to the turned on or off state of the receiver tube, and according to the detected signal state, to determine and output an alarm signal until a reset button or the power switch. Audible and visual alarm signal by 9014 transistor drive constitute sound and light alarm circuit, sound and light alarm at the same time. The power part of the transformer 220V AC City by the step-down transformer, bridge rectifier rectifier, electrolytic capacitor filter, three-terminal regulator 78L05 regulator, and finally get the machine requirements+5V
