M74HC595 is an eight-bit serial input, parallel output displacement buffer; Parallel output is the three-state output. In SCK's ascending edge, the serial data is entered into the internal 8-bit displacement buffer by SDI, and is output by Q7.
Parallel output, in the LCK, will be stored in the 8-bit parallel output cache. When the control signal of OE is low, the output value of the parallel output is equal to the mass stored in the parallel output buffer. When the control signal of OE is high potential, that is, when the output is closed, the parallel output end will be maintained in high impedance state. .
The M74HC595 maintains the compatibility with the general 74HC595 function and the footer level, and is enhanced for some features. These enhanced features make M74HC595 very suitable for use in large irrigation applications such as LED array indicators and LED signal matrix. Each channel's acceptable irrigation current has been increased, allowing the M74HC595 to support larger LED currents. The increased ground current can support several parallel input channels simultaneously open, and fill the current. Compared with the traditional 74HC595, the reliability is more than four times higher when the parallel output side has a larger irrigation current.
