Description: This paper presents a fully-digital-controlled shunt active filter for harmonic termination of a power distribution system. The main purpose of the active filter based on voltage detection is not to compensate for current harmonics but to damp out harmonic propagation caused by line inductors and shunt capacitors for power factor correction. However, time and phase delays inherent in digital controllers might lead to unsatisfactory harmonic-damping performance although digital controllers are preferable to analog controllers. This paper deals with the design and implementation of a digital controller for a shunt active filter based on voltage detection. Experimental results obtained from a laboratory system developed in this paper verify the viability and effectiveness of the fully-digital-controlled active filter.

The paper also proposed to MC9512D64 core bidirectional DC/DC converter control panel and controller hardware and software design. Charging using the combination of constant current charge and constant voltage charge control strategy to achieve the control of cell voltage, and to improve the charge-discharge control performance and security. The charging and discharging system prototype test results show that: when fully loaded, the system efficiency is above 80 , more than 99 of the power factor, harmonic content below 5 , to meet the design requirements, verify the feasibility of the design of the system.

Description: This paper presents a PSCAD/EMTDC model of PV solar panels, the grid connected three phase voltage sourced inverter (VSI) and its controller system. The VSI control is implemented with current control loops. A maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm is implemented to get the maximum output power for any given solar irradiation and temperature. This is integrated with the inverter control in such a way that the requirement of DC-DC converter is eliminated to harvest the maximum power. The inverter model also maintains near unity power factor regardless of the level of power output and maintains an acceptable level of current harmonics. Finally, the developed model is validated with the output of a commercially used PV module.

Description: The objective is to present a nonlinear approach to design a suitable controller system for the photovoltaic (PV) single-phase grid-connected system. The system structure includes a PV generator, Boost converter, and DC-AC inverter coupled to grid network. A backstepping controller is developed to extract maximum point power tracking (MPPT), to regulate the DC bus voltage, and to generate a sinusoidal current into the grid in phase with grid voltage in order to achieve unity power factor. The stability of the control algorithm is demonstrated by tools of Lyapunov analysis. Simulations show that the proposed controller system completely accomplishes listed aims even under atmospheric conditions variation.
