Description: The robotics platform Lego Mindstorms NXT is more than a simple toy. It allows the building of robots with advanced behaviour, with several motors and various sensors. Nevertheless, embedded processing power, memory, and communication capabilities are far behind what is offered by PDA or laptop computers. So the idea emerged to create a mobile robot that can carry a laptop.
In this thesis will be build a mobile laptop that can interact with the robot via Bluetooth and can be controlled remotely from the desktop computer via Wi-fi. In addition, the mobile laptop will be installed a webcam that will be used as a tool to facilitate the vision of robots in a certain distance and equipped with motion detection.
