Description: Kismet is an 802.11b network sniffer and network dissector. It is capable of sniffing using most wireless cards, automatic network IP block detection via UDP, ARP, and DHCP packets, Cisco equipment lists via Cisco Discovery Protocol, weak cryptographic packet logging, and Ethereal and tcpdump compatible packet dump files. 2. Create an OS design or open an existing OS design in Platform Builder 6.0.
a. The OS must support the SD bus driver and have an SD Host Controller driver (add these from Catalog Items).
b. Run image size should be set to allow greater than 32MB.
3. a. From the Project menu select Add Existing Subproject...
b. select AR6K_DRV.pbxml
c. select open
This should create a subproject within your OS Design project for the AR6K_DRV driver.

Most simulation setting can be configured with the Simulation Settings module
in the lower-left portion of the SIMULINK block diagram. The SNR values to test are
located in the module directly below, PER Test Settings . Currently, the simulation
models are configured for testing a 2x2 antenna configuration, with TGn Channel model D.
For testing with an AWGN channel, the file ch_model.m needs to be modified. For
testing other channel configurations, the file ch_model_tgn.m should be modified (replace
the .mat file tgn_chD_nlos(noflour)_2x2 for load command with other file). Note this file
was generated using the "WLAN MIMO Channel Matlab program" by Laurent Schumacher (see
references [3], [4] below).
Note that most of the other parameters may either be found in the IEEE80211n_settings.m
file,
