This example demonstrates how to read the serial number in an image of a semiconductor wafer, using the CharacterRecogntion control in conjunction with other ActiveMIL controls. The serial number, printed on the wafer, is a standard SEMI font character string, using SEMI M12 92, containing a checksum.
