The scheme of USB interface chip+ FPGA+ self-designed 429 bus driver circuit has been adopted to achieve the design of USB-429 bus interface. In this scheme, Cypress corporation’s USB slave controller chip CY7C68013 has been used to communicate with a host computer through USB interface. Instead of dedicated bus interface chip, FPGA has been used to complete data format conversion and protocol processing with less cost and more flexibility.
