This thesis puts forward an algorithm of high frequency reconstruction based on minimum entropy spectral estimation (called MEHFR in this thesis). MEHFR spreads the spectrum in the principle of minimum entropy and reconstructs the high frequency of audio signals also this thesis improves MEHFR and shows the analyses of performance at last applies MEHFR to ME3 which is the most popular codec of audio.
