Description: Welch 算法是一种应用很广的经典功率谱估计算法。但是面对现在日益膨胀的海量数据,单纯在串行Matlab环境下运行Welch 算法势必耗费大量的运算时间。根据Welch 算法的原理,在Linux 集群环境及消息传递接口MPI 的支持下,采用主从并行编程模式,实现了一个开源的Welch 并行算法PMWelch。实验结果表明,PMWelch 不仅具有Matlab 下Welch 算法一样的运算结果,还可以大幅减少运行时间.-It is well known that Welch algorithm is one of classical power spectrum estimation which is used widely. But facing a rapidly growing massive data, it will spend a plenty of time to operate Welch algorithm in the serial Matlab circumstances. A parallel Welch algorithm, which is implemented using the Master-Slave parallel programming model with the support of Linux clusters and MPI, is proposed here depending on the theory of Welch algorithm. The experiment results show that PMWelch can achieve the same accuracy as Matlab do and can highly improve the speed.

Description: The implementation was built on Matlab/Simulink using fundamental components in Simulink to demonstrate how reliably complex modulation schemes can be built, cost effectively and efficiently [5]. The design of ZigBee transmitter using MSK modulation is shown in the Figure 1. Here we map input data bits to 8-chip PN sequences to be transmitted and results in a chip rate of two mega chips per second. After that, resultant chip sequence is send to the serial to parallel converter. It is used here to separate the odd and even bit indexed chips. Following this bipolar data formatting is performed and signal modulated with a 2.4 GHz carrier on the In Phase and QuadraturePhase data stream and adds it to get the required transmitter output signal.

OFDM is a special multi-carrier modulation method, its basic idea is to high-speed transmission of data stream through the serial/parallel conversion, in a number of orthogonal narrowband sub-channel parallel transmission of low-speed data stream. OFDM receivers have three key technologies: channel estimation techniques, reduced peak-to-average ratio (PAPR) techniques and synchronization techniques.
