lizingDSP processors. TIC6201 DSP processor can be used as the heartof the system and a video codec chip-
SAA7111A as the forward channel for image inpu.t Besides, PCI2040 functioning as aPCI interface carrieson the
communication between DSP and PC. In the system, C6201 takes the job ofLPR and transmits the result to PC
for display and further datamanagemen.t Thus the system becomesmuchmore practicalwith balanced computa-
tion distribution and the satisfaction of real time functioning.
