Description: The idea of the selective mapping (SLM) method is that multiple independent transmit sequences representing the same information are generated as alternatives in the transmitter by certain methods, and after IFFT, the sequence with the lowest PAPR is then selected for transmission. This is a scrambling technique for all subcarriers independently of each other. There are M independent, length N, OFDM signals transmitting the same information to be transmitted at the transmitter side, while there are M sequences of random phase rotation factors of length N with the OFDM signals for dot product calculation, and then after IFFT The signal with the smallest peak-to-average ratio (PAPR) is selected from the resulting time-domain sequence and then transmitted to achieve the effect of reducing the peak-to-average ratio.
